Karen Adell Scot is the founder of TransCare, an organization dedicated to helping transgender people with their transitions and standing up for their rights. She has spoken on television, radio, and speaks at colleges and universities. Karen has degrees or certifications in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Earth Science, Computers, and Digital Film Making. She served as a Major and Commandant in the California Cadet Corps, and was a Deputy Sheriff, graduating first in her academy class. Karen has written and produced two theatrically released movies, and produces educational videos. Karen lives near Yosemite National Park, enjoying an authentic, joyful life, plays many instruments including bagpipes, and lives a life of adventure. Her motto in life: “As you pass through life, leave a trail of joy behind you.”
